Abhyanga

Synchronized Warm Medicated Oil Therapy for Cellular Rejuvenation & Vata Relief

Abhyanga treatment at Global Arogyalaya
Supervised by Senior Board-Certified Vaidyas

What is Abhyanga?

Abhyanga is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy involving synchronized full-body massage with warm medicated oils customized according to the individual body constitution (Prakriti).

Why is Abhyanga Recommended?

Daily stress, fatigue, physical exertion, and Vata imbalance dry out bodily tissues, leading to joint stiffness, aging, poor circulation, and insomnia. Abhyanga deeply nourishes all 7 Dhatus.

Therapeutic Mode of Action

  • Transdermal Oil Absorption: Warm herbal lipids penetrate deep into cutaneous and muscular layers.
  • Circulation Booster: Rhythmic strokes enhance arterial blood flow and lymphatic drainage.
  • Vata Pacification: Calms nerve endings, reducing pain signals and stress hormones.

Clinical Indications

Abhyanga is prescribed following diagnostic evaluation for patients presenting with:

General Debility, Chronic Fatigue & Physical Stress
Joint Stiffness, Muscle Spasms & Back Pain
Insomnia, Anxiety & Nervous Tension
