Netra Tarpana treatment at Global Arogyalaya
Supervised by Senior Board-Certified Vaidyas

What is Netra Tarpana?

Netra Tarpana is a specialized eye care treatment where a dam of herbal dough is built around the eyes, and warm medicated cow ghee (Triphala Ghrita) is poured over open eyes.

Why is Netra Tarpana Recommended?

Excessive digital screen exposure, dry eyes, blurry vision, and eye fatigue degrade Alochaka Pitta. Netra Tarpana deeply hydrates and rejuvenates optic nerves.

Therapeutic Mode of Action

  • Deep Ocular Hydration: Medicated ghee lubricates lacrimal glands and cornea.
  • Nourishes Optic Nerve: Active herbs penetrate ocular tissue, reducing strain.
  • Clears Photophobia: Restores balance to light-sensitive eye tissues.

Clinical Indications

Netra Tarpana is prescribed following diagnostic evaluation for patients presenting with:

Dry Eye Syndrome & Screen Fatigue
Computer Vision Syndrome & Blurry Sight
Early Cataract Prevention & Glaucoma Support
Dark Circles & Eye Burning
