What is Udvartana Powder Scrub?

Udvartana is a specialized dry massage using coarse, medicated herbal powders rubbed over the body in upwards direction opposite to hair follicles.

Why is Udvartana Powder Scrub Recommended?

Excess fat accumulation, sluggish lymphatic drainage, cellulite, and lethargy are caused by excess Kapha and Meda. Udvartana liquefies fat deposits and improves lymphatic flow.

Therapeutic Mode of Action

  • Friction Heat: Friction generates localized heat that breaks down subcutaneous fat deposits.
  • Lymphatic Drainage: Upward strokes stimulate lymphatic vessels and clear fluid retention.
  • Exfoliation: Dead skin cells removed, improving skin micro-circulation.
